megpye recorded a bizarre message on our answering machine about our Desert Castle.

it was awesome.

it was also overshadowed by the fact that i had to move into a condo on the same day.

hence the late diary.

thus far anyway.

when i asked my boss why all of our shipments were late (i'm mistress of grocery in my current job) he replied, "the weather is pretty bad in the mountains. there has been a couple avalanches and so the kok - a - holla pass is blocked."

TEH WHAT?!?

i laughed until i was in stitches. then i realized he was serious.

the coquihalla pass was blocked. no trucks were getting through from vancouver. nothing to do but sit pretty and wait for the snows to stop.

beer was drank, revelry ensued.

i've got a job.
i really quite like it. there are upsides and downsides, though.

i have some virii lodged in my respiratory system. megpye's sick too. we are sadly all out of yuen kut lam's kam wo tea. i never thought i'd wish i had more of that horribly disgusting remedy. but it really does the trick.

the sadness has begun to bleed though my otherwise happy mind. i blame the sickness.

it was going to be "my thing"

i was planning on living in edmonton and never setting foot inside that (in)famous consumerist monstrosity, the world's former largest shopping mall ever.

but then the dropkick murphys played there.

once upon a time, i think it was early-october, misslake went to visit the boston hussies.
